Travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina

Promo Tours is an excellent destination management company in Bosnia-Herzegovina. We would love to assist with meetings, events, groups and incentives in our beautiful country. One of  Europe's undiscovered treaures, Bosnia - Herzegovina is the heart shaped land that lies in the heart of southeast Europe.  A stunning mix between Ottoman Empire meets Europe, this ancient country has gorgeous mountains, blue sea, wild rivers, spectacular ski slopes, vibrant towns and sleepy villages. Perhaps what is most important though, is that Bosnia - Herzegovina is not only beautiful but is made up of cultures, traditions and people. And as the old cliche goes 'people make the place' – and Bosnia - Herzegovina prides itself on its hospitality and treating our guests as if they were family members. And family we take to our heart.

Travel Highlights Bosnia-Herzegovina

Stari Most (Old Bridge) in Mostar
The Stari Most bridge was built in 1556 and restored last century. It used to be one of the most vital trading posts in the Ottoman empire. City of Mostar was built around this beautiful bridge. The bridge, listed on UNESCO World Heritage sites list, is also used for some serious spectacular jumps into Neretva river !

Sarajevo
Sarajevo, is a vibrant city tucked between mountains and is nicknamed the European Jerusalem, a place where West and East met. Surrounded by spectacular nature, Sarajevo has a fascinating history and lends itself perfectly well for incentives and events, with plenty of activities to undertake. There are many restaurants, cafes and beautiful hotels

Visegrad bridge
One of the most impressive bridges in the world from the Ottoman empire and a Unesco protected site. It is in the lovely old town of Visegrad, on the Drina river (which forms a natural border with neighbouring Serbia) where we welcome our guest to take river cruise downstream to Zepa river.

Trebinje
Considered one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia - Herzegovina, the city is a stone treasure trove, where the orient and Mediterranean mix will charm you. Its old town lines the banks of the Trebisnjica River that flows through the heart of the city. The river and the city have always been known for the enormous old mills treading the Trebisnjica.

Jahorina
This beautiful mountain, one of the venues during XIV Winter Olympic Games in 1984, is a snow and ski paradise and great for all winter sports. The ski lifts climb to 1,894m with fabulous views towards Sarajevo.

Kravice Waterfalls
The gem of this region is the crystal-clear water of the Trebizat River. Southeast of Ljubuski are the Kravica Waterfalls. Stretching over 120m across and tumbling down 25 metres, Kravica is one of the largest waterfalls in Herzegovina and certainly the most impressive one

Jajce – open air museum
Jajce - a city of stone, light and water, the royal castle, town-museum under the open sky, was built on the banks of the rivers Pliva and Vrbas. Near the city are the Big and Little Pliva Lakes, between which small watermills have been built, known as Mlincici among the people in Jajce. The city's trademark is the magnificent 17-meter-high waterfall (the place where the series of travertine rocks of the river Pliva plunges into the river Vrbas). The waterfall decorates the center of town, which makes this place unique in the world.

Banja Luka
This beautiful town is surrounded by rolling green hills. It is split in two by the Vrbas, a very rough river that, where, just a short distance from Banja Luka, its waterfalls and cascades stop, and it flows gently into town.

Feel a real fun and adventure by rafting on one of the most beautiful rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Perfect solution for smaller or larger group. After full day activity with experienced skippers you will be surprised with super delicious cuisine.

Flyfishing

Many foreign fly fishermen could simply not believe that Bosnia and Herzegovina provides with excellent fly fishing opportunities, well maintained gin clear waters full of fish, excellent catches, and all at a very modest price. However, after they had their chance to visit our rivers, most of them come back. Regardless if you want to fish small streams, medium and large size rivers, Bosnia provides you with excellent fly fishing opportunities, mainly for wild fish. You can expect to catch huge grayling, beautiful trophy size brown trout, large rainbows and of course, the biggest attraction to all fly fishermen, the Danube Salmon.
